From September 15 to 17, 2023 Hunan Cultural Tourism Industry Expo will be held at Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, letting visitors to feel the charm of new technology in cultural tourism.

 

At the exhibition site, high-tech digital tourism enterprises from the Greater Bay Area, such as JMDM and Skyworth VR, will display immersive and digital cultural tourism new projects and new formats, and visitors can experience the latest equipment and products on the spot.

 

In addition, the Hunan Pavilion will present the concept of cultural tourism meta-universe, and adopt new technologies such as CNC water curtain and AI to create an immersive and interactive experience. Changsha’s “Just when we were young pioneers” and Huayi Brothers Immersive Town, Xiangxi Prefecture’s “Great Xiangxi Memory Museum”, Chenzhou’s “Dongjiangwan’s Night” and other 20 immersive performances, small towns, night tours, and other new formats and new scenarios will be newly released. With the aid of artificial intelligence and virtual reality, audiences can have a digital travel through time and space for Hunan’s characteristic cultural tourism resources.

 

The new trend of cultural digitalization brought about by new technologies such as 5G, big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence will accelerate the transformation, upgrading and high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry. The Expo will showcase the latest technologies, creativity and achievements in the digital cultural sector, and the new changes brought about by the integrated development of digital technology and cultural creativity. The exhibition area of cultural tourism technology equipment and products is nearly 15,000 square meters, with nearly 200 exhibitors, accounting for more than a quarter of the total.
